Ho hum

So I'm beginning to move into a quicker tempo vis a vis the impending move to Israel in September. What was overwhelming some months ago - pages of government specifications regarding returning resident rights to read through, shipping companies to contact, decisions to be made regarding the purchase and subsequent shipment of 220 V electrical gear, etc. - all seems less daunting now.

I also feel much less "freaked out" regarding the prospect of returning to Israel. I'm going because it's home, for better or worse. Ironic since I grew up in the States. Go figure. But somehow it must be inate or something similar. Otherwise, there is absolutely no logical explanation for the very strong, emotional ties held for a hostile country where hardship seems to be the norm...
